Green Home Construction is licensed in Oregon and Washington. We have completed a variety of projects including remodels and new construction. We work with the best subcontractors in the region to provide you with excellent value and workmanship.
We build with a variety of systems including Straw Bale, Straw clay, Insulated concrete forms (ICF’s), Structural Insulated Panels (SIP’s) and advanced stick framing. We feel each building system has its strengths and weaknesses and we match the building system to the project for the most value.
Our buildings incorporate a host of “best practice” building techniques to include: advanced framing, rain screen siding, integrated ventilation systems, and super airtight construction. Our project managers incorporate the latest building science to make sure your home will be comfortable and sustainable. After your project is complete, we can help maintain your home and investment.
ADVANCED FRAMING Design and construction techniques that dramatically reduce the amount of lumber needed to frame a structure. This allows more insulation and reduces thermal bridging losses.
